02

This one-week Dolomites route uses two bases: Val Gardena in the west and Cortina d’Ampezzo in the east. It limits hotel changes and leaves room to adjust hikes when cloud, storms or lift schedules intervene.

Route

Bolzano → Val Gardena → Passo Gardena → Cortina d’Ampezzo → Tre Cime

The route in brief

Spend three nights in Val Gardena and three near Cortina. Use the final night near your departure point if an early train or flight makes that useful.

Travel into the valley. Check lift times and reserve the clearest day for the highest route.
